A cancer diagnosis can be devastating to the whole family. You need the support of experts as well as those who have had experience dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Central Florida Regional Hospital is your partner in cancer detection, diagnosis and treatment. Our team of hematology/oncology, radiation oncology and surgical specialists can assist you in making treatment decisions. Physicians specializing in cancer work together with nurses, dieticians, therapists, social workers, pharmacists, and chaplains to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and family.
In addition, our partnership with the American Cancer Society provides the resources you need to look and feel your best throughout your cancer journey.
American Cancer Society Resource Room
The American Cancer Society Resource Room is operated by survivors who volunteer their time for patients and/or visitors who are currently going through treatment for cancer. It is located on the 1st floor of Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford. All supplies in the Cancer Resource Room are donated and free of charge to our patients and visitors. In addition, the American Cancer Society Resource Room offers referrals, educational materials and an invitation to the American Cancer Society Look Good…Feel Better program.
