Dr. Narinder S. Aujla is a board certified, non-surgical physician with more than 25 years experience in general orthopaedic injuries. With his office based in Sanford, Florida, Dr. Aujla treats a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions, ranging from sports injuries to slip and falls. Dr. Aujla received his education over three continents, including early education in Kenya, undergraduate and medical school in India, and an internship in England. In 1977, Dr. Aujla relocated to the United States to further his medical training. He completed rotations in general surgery in Hartford, Connecticut. Two years later, he began his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the prestigious John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Aujla opened his orthopeadic surgery practice in Sanford, Florida in 1983. The opportunity arose in 1996 to join Tri-County Orthopaedics, with Dr. John Schaeffer. In 2007, Dr. Schaeffer retired, leaving Dr. Aujla as the sole proprietor of the practice. Dr. Aujla has active privileges with Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford and courtesy privileges at Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City. He currently lives in Longwood, Florida with his wife of 30 years, Jitey. They have three children, Priya, Maya, and Narjit. In his spare time, Dr. Aujla can be found teeing off at the local golf club.
