The Diabetes Care Center at Central Florida Regional Hospital - recognized by the American Diabetes Association - provides education to help patients effectively manage their disease.
Diabetes Conversation Map Sessions
The Diabetes Conversation Map classes are held on Fridays and are offered in morning (9:00am-11:00am) or afternoon (2:00pm-4:00pm) sessions. There are four classes to the series and attendees must complete all four classes to receive a certificate of completion. Diabetes Support Group
The Central Florida Regional Hospital Diabetes Support Group meets the third Sunday of every month (except December) at 2:00 p.m. in the Central Florida Regional Hospital Classroom. The group provides ongoing diabetes education and support and features a wide range of topics and speakers to assist adults living with diabetes.
Gestational Diabetes Classes
Expectant mothers who have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes can help ensure a safe delivery and a healthy start for their baby by participating in a personalized diabetes wellness program that includes:
- Glucose monitoring
- Safe exercise
- Preventing maternal and fetal complications
