Diabetes management in Sanford, Florida
The Diabetes Care Center at Central Florida Regional Hospital offers patients and their family members a range of educational courses about diabetes. Our diabetes groups and classes are designed to support patients in managing their diabetes.

Diabetes educational series
Our Diabetes Conversation Map Series is made up of four classes:
- Class 1: On the Road to Diabetes Management
- Class 2: Diabetes and Nutrition
- Class 3: Monitoring Your Blood Sugar
- Class 4: Continuing Your Journey—Medications and Complications
Attendees must complete all four classes to receive a certificate of completion. Although there is no charge for attending, attendees will need to register so that materials are available for them.
These classes take place on Fridays at our hospital. Morning sessions are held from 9:00am to 11:00am. Afternoon sessions are held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
Diabetes Support Group
The Central Florida Regional Hospital Diabetes Support Group provides ongoing diabetes education and patient support. We feature guest speakers and cover a wide range of topics to help patients cope with their conditions.
This group meets the third Sunday of every month (except December) at 2:00pm.
